On Friday, July 26, Mayor Halsema and Emre Ünver will jointly raise the rainbow flag, officially opening Queer & Pride 2024. Together with Pink Nieuw-West, we look forward to the upcoming events. After the official opening, there will be a festive program with singing, dancing, spoken word, drag, speeches, and music. It is a diverse program, reflecting the rich diversity of the Nieuw-West district. There will also be an information market, food and drinks (roti and snacks), a henna artist, a makeup artist, and glitter tattoos.
